This sonnet relates so well to everyday relationships. This poem really touched me the first time I read it, and everytime I read it I pick out a few things in it that I didn't the first time.

I thought that the sonnet explained that there is more to love than words. It can only be explained by the use of breath and not the use of a pen.

I have always be cynical about love. I think it is just a state of mind, and that we can create it. But this poem gives hope to cynical people like me that someone is capable of loving, and that we can be capable of loving someone unconditionally.

This is the most ideal way love has been captured for me. The notion of having a passion that burns to the furthest reaches of the universe, but is also a quiet and continuous longing for another person hurts me pleasantly. That at least one person found how to mix one thing so powerful it must be finite coexist with another so intergral it could become mundane, and then be left with a state of being so shining, unassailable and finally perfect gives me hope

I think this poem was beatuiful but it also bought back memories that no one needs to keep. i am not trying to down the poem but, itreflects the love back that I had for a person before I lost them. I have complete and up most respect for Elizabeth and more power to her, but this I don't think is the best love sonet ever written. No offese to all of it's lovers out there but it definately could've been better. It's one of those sonnets that could be read in a coffe house for snaps on a friday night. sorry.

I thought this poem was very touching. She loves him so much that when she dies she will still love him.
